Holt Lowes is accessible at all times on foot for the purposes of quiet recreation and the Trustees welcome visitors. This right of access is  enshrined by the Countryside and Rights of Way Act, although very occasionally the Trustees may close the Lowes for short periods for safety reasons or in order to undertake management work.

Please note the following:

Access on horseback, mountain bike, motorcycle, quad-bike etc. is not permitted.

Dogs should be under  close control AT ALL TIMES. The open areas of heath and wetland are used by animals and birds throughout the year and they should not be disturbed

All Dogs must be on a short lead between April 1st and August 31st for the breeding season. The Lowes has several nationally rare breeding species.
