Great Sundew Drosera anglica<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Three species of sundew are native to Britain, and this is the scarcest and most localised – most populations are found in North-West Scotland.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div>

Wood Horsetail Equisetum sylvaticum<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Holt Lowes is the only site in East Anglia for this deliacte horsetail. It is another species that is more at home in the north and west of Britain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Common Wintergreen Pyrola minor<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Anything but common in the east of England, the Lowes is again the only site in East Anglia for the species which is most at home in boreal forests.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div>

Shinning Hookeria Hookeria lucens<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A very distinctive moss, first recorded on the Lowes over 200 years ago. It is named for William Jackson Hooker, who found it on the Lowes when he was a schoolboy.
